I’m LaTecia – your guide through this journey of ever-changing trends. I bet you’re wondering who I am, so let me tell you a bit about myself + my newsletter.

I was born curious by nature.

I was the kid who always had to know how everything worked so I took apart more toys than I played with, but I eventually put them back together.

At my core, I'm still that kid, taking things apart and then reworking them so the pieces fit in a more succinct pattern.

I do three things well: Insight, Strategy, and Creative.

I’ve worked at the intersection of tech, music, and culture for well over a decade with a lot of companies – some that are household names and others that are only known in their industry. As a Strategy Director I’ve worked at Apple, Nielsen, Microsoft, A Cloud Guru, Pluralsight, and more – building strategies, launching products, and in some cases, creating entire global creative programs. My strategies have generated over $750 Million for these companies, and honestly, it’s been so much fun.

As a Founder, I started my creative studio, Visionary Rising (VSNRY), in 2016 while also working in tech, because I believed deeply that the creator economy was going to be one of the single greatest transfers of knowledge we would see in our lifetime. In 2021, with the emergence of Blockchain technology and WEB3, I began pouring what I’d learned into advising companies and teams that were building things for creators. I advised the team at Decent XYZ on their protocol, and the team at artwrld on their go-to-market strategy, before spending a year at Royal where I led the go-to-market strategy for the platform and developed category-defining activations for artists Nas, Diplo, The Chainsmokers, Royce 5’9”, Yemi Alade, 27 Delly, and more.

My life and career have led me to a deep commitment to building a more integrated ecosystem that positions creators at the forefront through the development of tools, resources, and strategies enabling them to monetize their audience directly, retain ownership of their intellectual property (IP), and benefit through authentic partnerships with brands deeply committed to building the future of work for all creators.

Now? In addition to leading creative strategy for brands through my work at VSNRY, and being the Head of Growth at FORMLESS, I write Creative Brink, a newsletter and podcast about growth strategy for founders, artists, and creators ready to scale their efforts. You’ll find stuff like:
